The song A Matter Of Time is about being trapped in the expectations of other people, like behaving in a certain way, looking the right way, or having a certain faith. The song is an encouragement to follow your own inner voice, because that inner voice will show, who you really are.

Euan Dickinson from Massive Attack plays modular synths on A Matter Of Time. The synths was recorded in the Massive Attack Studio in Bristol, England, while Fremmand recorded the rest of the song in an old slaughterhouse in Aarhus, Denmark, where the raw concrete walls have given the single an edgy and industrial sound.
